10 years before Kirk, Spock and The Enterprise there was Discovery.
Discovery is the first official Star Trek TV series since Enterprise finished in 2005. In the meantime we’ve had several films with Chris Pine as Kirk, but fans will be chomping at the bit to get a proper look at the newest addition to the Trek Universe.
The story is told from the perspective of the Discovery’s First Officer (Sonequa Martin-Green), and reports say that the format is more of an ongoing story arc rather than the more episodic nature of some of the earlier TV shows.
There’s no “Hello to Jason Isaacs” in this trailer as he has only recently joined the cast, but I’m certain he’s got the bearing of a Starship Captain.
