The recent film “Hum”, presented by Dust is a tale of a menial robot, trapped in a basement, washing up all the time. This miserable life is interrupted when a hummingbird appears at a crack in the window.

The film is worth a watch just to see the levels of emotion the film makers manage to get into this little robot.  With movement only in the eyes, the windscreen wiper eyebrows and the angle of the head it’s amazing how much feeling you can detect in the robot.

The film is reminiscent of Wall-E in some ways and a great achievement.
