Roleplaying in the 80’s. That’s what I used to do isn’t it? Basic 2nd edition D&D with my friends at the age of 10, chasing monsters into Dungeons and battling green slime and gelatinous cubes.
This Kickstarter project turns the idea on it’s head. Instead, you get to play characters from the 80’s, but an alternative 80’s that never existed. The game is based on the art of scifi artist Simon Stålenhag’s paintings of Swedish 1980s suburbia, populated by fantastic machines and strange beasts.
The art is spectacular and the game mechanics are written by the award winning team behind Mutant: Year Zero, so it certainly looks like a project worth looking at.
